I have done a series of TV infomercials for the 2003 Bill Gaither Homecoming Collection.
One of my longstanding affiliations is the Music City Christian Fellowship (MCCF), which is a group of music artists made up largely of members of The Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, TN
The MCCF produces the Sunday Mornin’ Country gospel show every year at Opryland. I have been a regular in the show’s Country Chorale, which does back-up vocals for many solo artists including Brenda Lee, Skeeter Davis, George Hamilton IV, Barbara Fairchild, Roy Clark, Hoyt Axton, Lulu Roman, Paul Overstreet, Roy Acuff, Vestal Goodman and many others.
I went on to serve as the Chorale Co-ordinator for several shows of Sunday Mornin’ Country over the years, working alongside artist/ songwriter Joe Babcock ( writer of Elvis’ “I Washed my Hands in Muddy Water”) and Louis Nunley ( of The Jordanaires).
Sunday Mornin’ Country, of which I have been an integral part, was recently named by Tennessee’s Department of Tourism as one of the top 20 events in the southeast US. (2003)
I have served on the MCCF Board of Directors.
I also perform regularly as a guest artist for the Nashville Cowboy Church at The Texas Troubador Theatre in Nashville, TN, which is pastored by Dr. Harry Yates and Joanne Cash Yates.
