As for my writing…
I write songs and create characters to which the audience can easily relate. I write about real-life challenges and crises, temptations and triumphs in the average person’s life. I want people to hear my lyrics and view my characters and say, “I know what that’s like.”, and I want them to be aware of the powerful choices we all have, including the choice to forgive, the choice to love. I write about God’s love and how it can change their lives.
Dianne has penned two drama/musical comedies
STUCK AT THE GATES
and
THANKS!
Both reflect a distinct Christian message as they present real situations and spiritual truths to the audience.
STUCK AT THE GATES is a one-woman show in which she plays a variety of characters who are stuck at the gates of Heaven, and forced to think about the consequences of their own previous actions. She ends the series of vignettes with a short “teaching” segment and then brings the characters back
on stage where the audience has the opportunity to speak to them.
